Brødrene Andreassen is located in the island Værøy in Lofoten. Surrounded by cold clear water, clean air and with the best fishing grounds in the immediate vicinity, we have specialized in traditional fish, with Stockfish and the Norwegian speciality " lutefisk" as our main product.
Outermost in Lofoten, on the island of Værøy, the special climate creates optimal conditions for making dried fish of the highest quality.
Rain, wind, sun, and snow makes every single stockfish unique, and so it must be treated.
The "Lutefisken" to Brødrene Andreassen has for decades been produced according to the same old traditional recipe.
Along with good raw materials and optimal drying conditions, we have for generations produced lute fish, which today is entitled "The world's best lute fish"
